THE STATE BANK OF TOMATO

Yeah you read it right. Congress has launched a tomato bank and it is launched to protest against rising prices of tomato. It is a parody on the same lines of a modern bank. It will be working from 10 to 5 like an actual bank. It offers an interest rate, demamd deposit,cheque etc facility. We wish they launch an atm as well soon. The point here is the things like tomato which is a daily need is experiencing a price rise not just because of poor rainfall but also because of other illicit practices.  At some part it is due to natural failure but at some parts it is a result of deliberate measures. Traders are making huge profit but farmers are still away from the benefits.  It is the middle man and trader that is making huge profit and not the farmer. Hope we see banks for onion and chilli as well because their prices are also rising. you get a huge return on investing on tomatoes. Though it is a parody it can turn into profitable venture as will if thought from a business angle, because prices are high today but will fall tomorrow . meaning people will be able to buy more with same amount. Well its a  good move
